Day 6 - Tambo

A good nights sleep last night and woke to completely blue sky this morning for the first time since we left home. Before we left Mitchell we HAD to visit the bakery on the recommendation of people camped at the weir. So, morning tea at Morven..

Faye had one too but wouldn't allow any photo! After morning tea Faye had a play (to bring back childhood memories!)

An interesting building made from kerosine tins back in the Great Depression..

Lunch was at Augathella - more bakery stuff!! (Bread this time!). Had a walk around and Faye had to again have a play...(more memories)

Find the real one in this photo....

Tonight we are at Tambo in a caravan park. Did a walk around town - walked around a small lake and Ken didn't pick the right line to get through a muddy section - he sunk!!!! Pity didn't get a photo of his boots and white socks and one arm as he tried to get one foot out of the mud!!!!

Tambo is famous for it's Tambo Teddies - Faye checked them out but they were sold out. Tambo had it's 150 year anniversary last week and all stock was sold...

Tomorrow going to a weir near Barcaldine.
