Day 22 - Quinola Lakes

Woke to misty rain again but we headed north for a day out & the weather was fine. Kevin & Pat came with us and we went to Kuranda then up Black Mountain Road through forests and national parks (Kuranda N/P and Mowbray N/P) for about 60 kms following the ridge lines and parallel to the coast. The road was wet and slippery in places but was a great drive through rainforests and mountains. A couple from Tasmania who are staying at Quinola also came with us.

This is the crew and our spot at morning tea...

This is typical of the road and forest....
This was lunch view...

We did about 240km for the trip. Percy was pretty dirty so he had a wash after we got home.

Now to finish the day off - the blues need to win to silence these Queenslanders!
