Queensland Day 14 Quinola Lakes

As you have noticed we are having a quiet week & relaxing. Ken up early today to have the Prado serviced in Atherton. Did a few km's around the streets whilst waiting. Tonight we are going to Ravenshoe with Kevin & Pat to a meeting.

We will include a couple of photos of a cormorant & platypus that are on the lagoon in front of the house. It is so interesting the way they play together. The bird sits on a branch until it sees the platypus - then comes up to it & usually nudges it & then the both dive below the water. The bird comes up first - waits for the platypus - then it all goes around again. Once they have had their fill of food they both go away.
