South Coast Day 11

A sightseeing day today. Firstly went to HMAS Albatross where Ken's oldest brother used to be when he was in the Navy many moons ago. Then via Nowra to Cambewarra Lookout...

The view is over the Shoalhaven River & Nowra. Then onto towards Kangaroo Valley when we came across this view over the valley...

Near Kangaroo Valley is this Hampden Bridge built in 1898...

Then came across country to Berry which had lots of shops that Faye enjoyed looking around. Morning Tea at the Berry Donut Van & then back to Nowra for some food shopping & petrol.

This afternoon had a look at the areas just to the north of Jervis Bay, Greenwell Point, Crookhaven Heads (fish & chips lunch) & Currarong. The Beecroft Weapons Range area was open today so we were able to go to the Peninsula to Point Perpendicular which is the headland entry to Jervis Bay.

Couldn't get right to the lighthouse as some renovations are being done...

Did a 2 km walk to the Outer Tubes which gave some great photos....

Also had a look at Honeymoon Bay...
