Day 64 Sandy Hollow

This was the Castlereagh River when we woke up this morning. A slow start to the day with morning tea at Dunedoo & lunch at Merriwa.

It is really nice country now that we are in the Hunter Valley. This next photo is coming towards Merriwa...

and this one just coming into Sandy Hollow...

The wattle today was nearly all the way & the best we have seen.

This will be the last blog as we will be home by lunch tomorrow.

Some statistics of our time away:

Days - 65 (slightly over Faye's 2 month time limit!)
Distance - 9910 km (average 152km per day)
Petrol - average price $1.56 (lowest $1.45 highest $1.71) Used Premium for the whole trip which gave consumption - 15.2 litres per 100km.

Thank you for coming with us on this trip. We thoroughly enjoyed it & it well surpassed our expectations.

Until next trip.....Bye
Faye & Ken
