Day 51 Windorah

About 200km today through some varied & interesting country. Morning tea on the banks of the Thomson River at Jundah. This Bustard crossed the road in front of us...


Arrived at Windorah by lunchtime & this was Ken's lunch..


Visited the Info Centre & Museum & then did a 12km nature drive to the Cooper Creek..Faye spotted this fellow on the way -








this is Cooper Creek..






For sunset went out of town to the sandhills - the sand is really red..


Climbed to the top - Faye topped it off!
