Day 41 Lakeland (just below Cooktown)

Left Pormpuraaw this morning with Faye crying as Alana's class waved to us as we left. Being with these indigenous children has left a real mark on Faye. This is a photo of David & Alana this morning...


Travelled 207km to Musgrave Station without seeing another vehicle in either direction but then we joined all the 4WD's coming & going to the tip of Cape York. This was an interesting termite mound where we had morning tea -


These folk joined us for lunch at Hann River roadhouse..
