Day 2 Tullamore

Left Macquarie Woods around 9 & by the time we got to Orange it was drizzly & very foggy but it cleared up by the time we arrived at Cudal for morning tea. Ended being there for sometime - couldn't get Faye out of a "junk" shop - & we talked to the 2 guys for quite a while ( but she didn't buy anything!!).

After Parkes went to Ootha to see "Utes in the paddock" which is 19 Holden Utes painted up in all sorts of configurations. All model Utes are represented and they are painted by different artists/painters. It is a magnificent display & we loved it - even the farmer came & spent time with us giving the history etc. We have taken heaps of photos but this one will give you the idea,

Then to Trundle which has the widest main street in NSW

And the longest wooden verandah in Australia

Tonight we are camped at the Tullamore showgound....No mobile service he so the blog will go tomorrow when we get reception. Still have TV though.
