First stop today was in Broken Hill for morning tea & to do all the essentials for the van (ie toilet & water).
Then about 180km to Packsaddle and we are staying at the roadhouse tonight - another roadhouse meal coming up!
Quite a nice trip to here….
They have recently started a touring map etc following the steps of Sturt the explorer. They are doing an app but it is not ready yet. They have installed boards at rest stops with details & some nice cut out sculptures.
The lady with Faye was the first European lady to cross the Barrier Ranges and the bottom one Burke as Burke & Wills passed through here during their explorations.
Tomorrow to Tibooburra for a few days.
Lovely photos! love the desert flowers! Packsaddle is a strange name for a town! guess it is quite small.
