Days 36 to 38 - Uralla

Had a lovely 3 days with Faye’s sister Marie and all of her family at Uralla.

Nothing to report except some holiday stats. We will be travelling home tomorrow.

A photo of Faye with Marie & Ken with Jen, Marie’s daughter.

The nights have been cold but lovely days.

This holiday will have been for 39 days and by the time we get home will have covered 4106km.

Camp costs have averaged $27.81 per night. Overall the cost came under budget (Yes - Ken does a budget) mainly due to lower fuel costs. We did not know how it would go with Izzy Isuzu as this was our first holiday with the new vehicle. However, we are extremely happy with Izzy’s performance as it used 12.5 litres per 100km which is about 40% less than Percy Prado towing our 24ft caravan. Average fuel cost was $1.82 per litre.

We have thoroughly enjoyed this holiday, mainly covering the Sunshine Coast & the hinterlands. It was our second attempt as the first time early last year was stopped by all the flooding at that time.

Thank you for coming along on the holiday with us. Until next time (which may be the western outback of NSW in springtime)
