Day 15 - Parkes

Just a look around town today. First up to the War Memorial lookout and then to the Henry Parkes Centre (tourist info) where it is mostly about Elvis and old cars.

Parkes has a big Elvis festival each January with about 25,000 visitors. All around town and in the parks there is Elvis stuff

Had lunch at the RSL club and Faye was able to eat a normal meal!

Also some shopping and now rest.

Tomorrow to Peak Hill. The tourist info lady rang the Community Health at Peak Hill as Ken needs his dressings changed again. Have to ring them when we are leaving “The Dish” in the morning to seen if the Community Nurse will be available.
