After that the country was all greened up and looking good. Morning tea along the way before Lithgow.
Whilst at Lithgow we visited the historic site where a Blast Furnace was built in 1907.
The lake was the cooling pond for the furnace and now cleaned up for recreation.
Then a fairly short hop to Lake Wallace near Wallerawang for tonights camp.
The photo of the burnt hill is right at the edge of Lithgow houses not far from the main street.
Tomorrow to Vitoria State Forest between Bathurst and Orange.
