Day 49 - Wonarah Bore

A lovely night next to the water at Camooweal. During the night we heard pigs so Faye brought her Qld Bottle Tree that she was gifted  at Wallumbilla into the van. Two years ago a pig ate part of a plant that we were bringing home! Wanted to be sure this time...

Posted mail in town and then set out coming west...



Wasn't long before entering the Northern Territory - and then no towns at all during the day. Tonights stop is in the “middle of nowhere”.  Had morning tea at Avon Downs and a late lunch after we arrived here. A reasonable amount of traffic and almost all were caravans or road trains.

No mobile reception here so blog will go tomorrow. Tomorrow we will go to Tennant Creek and not sure where tomorrow night. Possibly a free camp south of town and then the next night to the Devils Marbles. If that is the case we will be without reception for 2 nights straight according to our apps.

    I have finally caught up and read all your blog. Thanks for all the news, it brings back lots of memories. The photos are great and we will look forward to seeing them altogether in your coffee table edition. Keep safe and enjoying God's wonderful creation. M&M
