Left home about 9am with morning tea at the Golden Highway start near Singleton.
Came through to Merriwa and saw their newly painted silos...
Merriwa has an annual “Festival of the Fleeces” (next weekend) and the sheep they run down the main street have red socks...

Whilst most shops were closed the bakery was open so bakery lunch for day 1.

Faye still has sheep in her veins after growing up on a sheep property!
We are at a free camp alongside the Castlereagh River at Mendooran for tonight.
