Day 8 - Marengo

Left Uralla around 10.30am, fuelled up in Armidale and the had a look at Wollombi Gorge along the Waterfall Way. Couldn’t see the warerfall as the lookout was closed off.

Had lunch at Ebor Falls and then came through to Marengo.

For the next 2 nights we are at a property owned by Sandra Bannerman who we first met in Newcastle nearly 50 years ago and have remained good friends. Sandra was a TAFE teacher and she also worked in Armidale.

Sandra has owned this property, “Mayfield” for some years and is now selling with settlement in 6 weeks. She hopes to purchase a house around Dorrigo.
