Day 24 - Raglan

A very varied day today. Started off with a tour of the Aranui Cave at Waitomo. Faye coped with it very well!

The above are just a peek at the many photos we took. A beautiful place. In one of the chambers the guide asked if anyone would like to sing (he had done so a little earlier) so Faye sang Amazing Grace to much applause.

Then went on a bush walk in the Ruakuri forest to see how the river runs through tunnels in the hills...

Then drove onto Hamilton to  see their Gardens. The sun was shining when we went in (people everywhere) so didn’t take any protection and it started to rain later so we got a bit wet getting back to Maui. Some photos...

Had lunch there and then came onto Raglan which is a coastal town directly west of Hamilton. A nice drive out and a pretty town. Walked into the shops from the Van park and had a roast dinner. It has now started to rain here.

Tomorrow we head further north past Auckland.
