Day 28 - Geelong

Colin and Pam picked us up this morning and we spent most of the day in Geelong City. It is a beautiful city and the first stop was to view their new $45million library building “The Dome”.  Colin and Pam had not visited it and we had a guided tour and is 6 floors in the shape of a dome. A very different library!

Then went to the waterfront for a walk and lunch at The Boatshed.

Also a visit to the Botanic Gardens for afternoon tea and a general look around.

Back at the van now and going back to the Giles home for tea.

Tomorrow we travel to Melbourne for 3 nights with Ron and June Weeks. They live at Chirnside Park, near Lilydale so have to tow the van  through Melbourne.
