Day 3 - Wagga Wagga

It rained most of the night at Cowra but not quite as cold as the previous night. Left Cowra at 9.30am and for the rest of the day it was mostly misty with occasional rain periods.

The temp was between 6 and 10 during the day. Morning tea was along the road with lunch at Cootamundra. It wasnt raining then so were able to have a walk around the statues of Australian Cricket Captains.

Photos 2 & 3 are at Young. The wombat at Wombat! And the last 2 at Cootamundra.

Spent some time at Junee as we visited the Roundhouse Rail Museum...

Faye wasn't sure but even she did enjoy it. The roundhouse is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere with 43 bays. A large section is still operating rebuilding locomotives. The rest are the museum - was able to inspect most of the locos and sit in the drivers seats. They have lots and many old time carriages. Faye tried a cup of tea!

Then came through to Wagga and again free camped in a park at North Wagga. Tomorrow on to Deniliquin.
