It's been a long day today. We got a little bit later check out at 12pm which helped. Went to the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery for a few hours and had lunch there. Was very interesting, especially all the displays and info on Cyclone Tracy.
Later in the afternoon went for a drive to the northern suburbs and then back to the Mindil Beach sunset markets. A good placd to eat. Had nearly 4 hours there and then went for a drive around the city and waterfront. Back to the car hire depot by 10pm and the taxi we booked came right on time.
Now sitting in the airport waiting until we can check in. Our flight is due out at 1.45am and back into Sydney at 6.30am. Then a train to Newcastle.
