Kevin had appointments in Cairns today so we all went for the day. Whilst he was at his first appointment we, and Pat, went to the nearby Cattana Wetlands for 1 1/2 hours...
A beautiful place although not many water birds around. Plenty of other birds..
The magpie geese were near Atherton. Had lunch at McDonald's then whilst Kevin had his other appointments Ken and Faye went walking around the main shops in Cairns. Plenty of tourists around!
Arrived back at Quinola around 5 pm.
