Day 34 - Mapoon
A restful night in the tent at Coen but Faye still not sure she wants to do too much tent camping!
About 340km to Mapoon today. Morning tea at Archer River and we were at Weipa by lunchtime,
Lunch there and some Woolworths shopping and then about 80km to Mapoon. Weipa is a mining town -

Arrived at Mapoon around 3.45pm. Faye's nephew David and his wife Alana have lived here for about 3 years - Alana is a school teacher and David is a bus driver/garbage truck driver/power station operator etc.
Had a good talk then Faye and Alana went walking, Ken went for his own walk and David started cooking tea.
