Last night was the caravan's park 1st birthday as a Discovery Park. An interesting evening - Faye did win a raffle prize (a cook book)!
Today Faye & Ken went to the town of Seventeen Seventy for a day trip. 1770 was the 2nd place that Captain Cook came ashore in Australia on 24th May 1770. The first 2 photos are where he landed. Then we did a walk to the headland and then had lunch at a lovely bistro on the waterfront. Another small walk this afternoon.
When we got back to the park Vicki & Jen's dogs, Rex & Roy, went for a swim....they love the water,
We leave here tomorrow and will go inland again as we go north to the Atherton Tablelands.
