A quiet night alongside the Barwon river last night and we slept in.
It is so very dry out here but still heaps of cotton growing. Spent a little time at Walgett for morning tea and then to Coonamble by lunch time. Set up the van, and then walked the shopping area, together with a coffee for afternoon tea.
We are alongside the Castlereagh River but it is just sand. They say that water is flowing beneath the sand.
It appears we may be home by Friday now as tomorrow we are going some different roads - to Baradine and then down to Coonabarabran and through to Binnaway. That will leave about 300km to home.
