Day 49 Longreach

A bit of a sleep in - Faye did some washing - then went up the street for morning tea...


Had a bit of a look around - this is the Thomson River -


& then relaxed this afternoon - these folk came visiting the van -


Faye had a night off tonight so had tea at "The Woolshed" restaurant.

We have managed to book a 3 1/2 hour flight over Lake Eyre next Tuesday - from Birdsville. So we have arranged to leave the van at Windorah & will go to Birdsville on Saturday. On Sunday/Monday will go down the Birdsville Track to Cooper Creek to see the flood - then do the flight Tuesday morning & go 4WDing to Big Red in the PM.

Should have reception at Birdsville but probobly not the next 2 nights.
