Day 22 - Quinola Lakes, Malanda

It's been a busy day....up early to look at a Tawny Frogmouth which had set up on the steps to Kevin & Pat's house & he is still there tonight!

Then we went to Mt Hypipamee Crater and on the way in came upon...


This is part of the crater & the black spots on the water are where we had thrown stones from the lookout..80 metres down..


Then onto Herberton and spent a couple of hours at their historic village -


After lunch did a 3km walk through a State Forest - then home for afternoon tea and then to the dairy to watch the milking ( (Quinola is located as part of a dairy farm). I'll keep some photos for tomorrow. Tonight we are at the home of the owners of Quinola for a hymn sing...
