Day 7 - Mt Magnet

Left Charters Towers around 9am - we have been there before - town has lots of great old buildings. Morning tea at Fletcher Creek and from there on
It was overcast & showers for the rest of the day. The Development road has improved substantially since we last came up this way & this time not as many mine road trains.


For those C & W music fans this is the Three Rivers hotel at Greenvale - made famous by Slim Dusty..We were going to stay at The Lind but it was only 2pm so came on to Mt Magnet.


Only a short hop tomorrow to Quinola Lakes Camp near Malanda where Faye's brother & his wife now live.
