Day 3

Had a look around Brewarrina this morning. The bridge over the Barwon shown below was built in 1888.


An interesting place was the Bre weir & aboriginal fish traps. You can see the weir in the background behind Faye & Dorothy having fun.


The traps were (& still are) used by the aboriginals to trap fish so they can be easily caught.


We arrived at Bourke at lunch time & it has been raining lightly since. Jim & Dorothy have gone to "Back O Bourke" this afternoon (We saw it last year).
