Had a lovely tea last night by firelight – see photo. Then watched a DVD to end a great day. A late start this morning & then went into Wingham for lunch on the banks of the Manning River and a walk through Wingham Brush. There are 1,000’s of flying fox’s in the rainforest – 2nd photo is one of them. During that walk we came across Derek who is the Coordinator of the National Register of Big Trees ( www.nationalregisterofbigtrees.com.au ) and he was measuring & taking photos of a stinging tree for the register. So Faye became his part subject for the photo – my version is photo 3 – he likes to include a human to give the photo perspective. Said the photo would be on the web site in a few days. Just resting for the afternoon – showers coming up (before dark as they have no power – no lights). Home tomorrow….
