Monday 12th April

Today came out sunny so decided to go to Tapin Tops National Park & Ellenborough Falls. Was a great drive & the 1st photo is at Dingo Tops rest area. Then went to Rowleys Rock lookout. That involved a 45 minute walk up a steep incline (the sign said “strenuous” & it was) but the view was worth it. It was a complete 360o view of the mountains & beyond. Could even see beaches on the coast. The 2nd photo is from there. Then to the falls (they had a canteen there where they cooked their own pies etc – seeing it was lunch time we HAD to partake even though had our lunch with us). We walked to the bottom of the falls which was great going down but not coming up as there was 614 steps each way. They have a boardwalk all the way.

Each afternoon they come around the camp ground selling stuff so we have just had a choc top each!!   Happy Birthday Matt!!

  1. Loved the waterfall. Don't think I want to climb the steps.
